His expertise spans across metalwork, plastics, wood, sheet materials, and electronics. Additionally, he worked with shop-fitting companies to craft bespoke products, some of which were for brands such as Triumph Motorcycles, Ducati, Honda, Marks & Spencer, Sketchers, BMW, and more. Over two decades, Martin not only utilized AutoCAD for creating bespoke joinery but also taught AutoCAD 2D and AEC.
Before joining Microvellum, Martin spent nearly 27 years in various roles, including design, development, drafting, programming, and CNC operation. Before becoming a Service Provider, Martin worked for one of Microvellum’s client utilizing the software every day, creating both commercial and residential fixtures and cabinets. His portfolio ranged from kitchen designs to commercial fitouts, reception counters, educational and health facilities, vanity units, and more. Martin's expertise only grew once joining Microvellum, where he has been instrumental in assisting clients.
Now, as part of Microvellum’s service team, Martin finds joy in helping clients bring their visions to life. He thrives on diving into data, guiding clients in crafting bespoke products, and ensuring that reports accurately reflect the desired information. Reflecting on his role, Martin shares,
"I feel that my previous experience in IT and Woodworking have aligned and allowed me to be an all-round service provider who not only teaches and installs the software but can provide clients with assistance and expertise to enable them to grow and reach their potential. I thrive on the buzz when the client sees it, gets it, and realizes the potential of the product they have purchased."
As a member of Microvellum’s service team, Martin is dedicated to ensuring the success of woodworking companies adopting Microvellum software for their deisgn-to-manufacturing processes.
