His first job was in a small cabinet shop near his hometown in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He started off cleaning dust bins and bathrooms, eventually moving his way up to sanding door profiles and face frames. By the age of 18, he was not only running the shop but also had his own business, crafting custom products for customers.

Although Jesse was running the shop, he had a desire to learn more. He found a new job where he could learn how to draft, with an AutoCAD-based software, Pattern Systems. Through self-teaching and college courses, he honed his drafting skills, proficiently producing bill of materials and g-code for the shop. Eventually, Jesse ventured out, offering his drafting services until discovering Microvellum.

Transitioning to Microvellum came as a relief for Jesse, given his prior experience with AutoCAD and Excel. After undergoing training and familiarizing himself with Microvellum, Jesse eagerly began teaching woodworking clients how to effectively utilize and implement the software.

Now, over two decades later, Jesse continues to find joy in using Microvellum and assisting clients in their success. Reflecting on his journey, he shares,

"Twenty plus years later, I am still enjoying meeting new Microvellum users and sharing the knowledge I've accumulated. If you know me, you know I enjoy bringing laughter and light-heartedness into training sessions, whether it’s online, in an office, a conference room, or through Teams. It's an honor to sit alongside fellow users and share knowledge. I never want anyone to experience the struggles I faced starting out with Pattern Systems. My passion lies in equipping and building confidence within the Microvellum community."
