Like many individuals with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Kristina had initially planned to work for a company like Boeing after college, designing and engineering mechanical airplane components. However, her career path took a different turn when she accepted an engineering position at a local cabinet shop, where she utilized Microvellum’s CAD/CAM software for their design-to-manufacture workflows.

In her roles as a drafter and engineer at two different local woodworking companies, she discovered her passion for Microvellum and the software’s capacity for customization. She gained experience working on a diverse range of projects, including custom cabinets, reception desks, wall paneling, and other architectural millwork.

Five years later, in 2020, Kristina ventured out on her own, starting her own drafting business, R&S Superior Woodworks. Soon after, she joined Microvellum’s service provider team.

Kristina loves to code and figure out data, expressing cheerfully that it's one of the reasons she joined Microvellum. She says,

"I love the spreadsheet side of Toolbox, working on the mechanics of the library data, and building parametric logic into products that enable them to transform according to the end-user's needs."

As a member of Microvellum’s service team, Kristina ensures the success of woodworking companies adopting Microvellum software for their design-to-manufacturing processes. She provides instruction on CNC machine integrations, product engineering requirements, product development, and more.
