Garin’s career started in general construction, but he quickly found his passion for carpentry, leading him to work in a cabinet shop. There, he gained experience with custom cabinetry, millwork, and a variety of other projects, both commercial and residential. After a few years on the shop floor, he became the shop manager, overseeing production and using his AutoCAD skills to improve drafting processes.
In 2010, Garin began using Microvellum when the shop transitioned to the software to handle higher volume projects. His experience with AutoCAD made the switch smooth, and before long, he was leading a drafting team of 10, helping streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
After collaborating with Microvellum’s founder, David Peel, and eventually moving back to Florida, Garin became a Microvellum Service Provider. This role gave him the chance to work on a variety of projects, which only deepened his knowledge. He even started his own drafting business, using his expertise to help other Microvellum clients fine-tune their processes.
In 2017, Garin officially joined Microvellum as an Account Manager. He loves helping clients get the most out of the software and watching their businesses thrive. As Garin puts it:
I love seeing the benefits of Microvellum. It’s amazing how much time it saves and how much capability it brings that many businesses wouldn’t achieve otherwise. My favorite part of Microvellum is creating something, engineering it, and then stepping back to see the results. That’s always been the most rewarding thing for me in design and engineering.
Garin’s passion for helping others succeed and his wealth of experience make him an invaluable part of the Microvellum team.
His account management coverage includes Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean.
