Ed’s journey into the wood industry began with drafting and product engineering roles in two medium-sized residential and architectural millwork shops located in Central Canada.

His extensive hands-on experience created a passion for drafting and engineering, leading him to transition into the role of a Microvellum Service Provider. Ed's goal was to assist clients in drafting and automating processes through library data, facilitating a streamlined workflow from estimating to production. His practical knowledge of the software has made him an asset to clients seeking to optimize their design-to-manufacturing processes.

As a member of Microvellum’s service team, Ed works to ensure the success of woodworking companies adopting Microvellum software for their design-to-manufacturing processes. He provides instruction related to CNC machine integrations, product engineering requirements, and product development. Additionally, he assists with customized reporting, testing, development of standard operating procedures, and other tasks related to setup and integration.
