Meet Darin Gregson, a woodworker by trade who has accumulated over 16 years of experience working at all levels of manufacturing on the shop floor and in the office as a designer, drafter, and engineer at two factories in New Zealand – Wood Effects and Montage Kitchens & Joinery.
His career began at Wood Effects where he developed a passion for the industry. His determination and love for the industry led him to Montage Kitchens and Joinery where he spent many years learning as much as he could in various roles. It was during his tenure at Montage Kitchens and Joinery that he discovered his enthusiasm for Microvellum and what Microvellum could provide.
As a Microvellum Service Provider, Darrin relies on his skills developed over the last 7 years as an end-user of Microvellum software to help wood product manufacturers set up and implement their software, and develop and refine their skills through one-on-one training and consultation. He provides instruction related to CNC machine integrations, product engineering requirements, and product development. Additionally, he assists with customized reporting, testing, development of standard operating procedures, and other tasks related to setup and integration. Reflecting on his role and what he has learned over the years, Darin shares,
