Partnering with The MiLL to Advance Industry Education

CENTRAL POINT, ORE—Microvellum moves forward with a partnership with The MiLL, National Training Center located in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA.

The MiLL exists to promote a stronger and more consistent workforce by expanding opportunities for students to grow their knowledge in cabinet manufacturing, construction and welding technology.

Students who progress through the cabinet manufacturing program offered at The MiLL have opportunities for internships at local businesses as well as earn industry-recognized certifications through Woodwork Career Aliance (WAC).

"The MiLL has a great program that is targeted at teaching students real-world skills, equipping them with the knowledge to be successful right out of high school," commented David Fairbanks, President at Microvellum.

To date, Microvellum has donated over $150,000 in software and services to The MiLL to support of their software and CNC machine integrations throughout their 46,000 sq. ft. facility. Students participating in The MiLL's cabinet manufacturing program have full access to Microvellum's AutoCAD-based Toolbox software and will work with local manufacturers using Microvellum's software platform to further their education and skills.
